Join our Team as a Project Foreman:
Westcana Electric Inc. is a leading Western Canadian Electrical Contractor that is looking for a motivated Project Foreman with experience on Industrial and Commercial Projects. The ideal candidate will take pride in providing quality work, and have a strong commitment to safety. Successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and will be tasked with ensuring that each facet of a project is handled successfully from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Instruction of journeyman and/or apprentices
- Ability to read and interpreting drawings
- Ability to do layout and layout drawings
- Installation of a wide variety of electrical equipment
- Close coordination and communication with estimating Project Manager and General Manager
- Provide a safe working environment for your entire team and fellow workers on site
- Conducting weekly toolbox and safety meetings
Qualifications:
- Red-Seal Journeyperson Certificate
- FSR A or B an asset
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a supervisory position
- Must have valid class 5 driver’s license
- Organized, able to multi task, and meet deadlines
- Experience working on Industrial sites
