Join our Team as a Project Manager:
Westcana Electric Inc is a leading western based company that provides professional and first-rate electrical service to a variety of customers. We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced project manager to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a project work team that meets regularly to coordinate responsibility for assignment and execution of tasks according to schedule
- Schedule and monitor manpower requirements against the project budget/spending performance
- Understand project contract terms and conditions
- Be able to drive a project team professionally and responsibly
- Travel when required to job sites
- Be capable of managing and directing project initiation
- Check in with all sites and stay ahead of material ordering and any unforeseen issues which may arise
Qualifications:
- Strong client and project management skills
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- An electrical trade certificate
- FSR A or B is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with online collaboration tools
- Excellent organization skills needed to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work environment
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience
